Gregory Alan Isakov at Twist and Shout 7/12/09

Twist & Shout has been enjoying a run of local performances. Our third local artist this summer was Gregory Alan Isakov. A great singer- songwriter, Gregory has been delighting Denver crowds for years. Last night’s show was very intimate and personal, with forty people cozied up on the floor to hear lovely songs by Gregory and his band. Another thirty people gathered around to enjoy the hour-long set. The crowd was a wonderful mix of folk enthusiasts. His songs are dreamy yet powerful while remaining soft and lulling. You will be hearing a lot more about this talented artist in the future.
