In Spite of a traffic jam that made Joseph Arthur forty
minutes late, a dedicated group of fans waited for one of
Twist & Shout’s favorite artists to perform a gentle and beautiful forty
minute acoustic set of old and new songs including a cover of Neil
Young’s “After The Gold Rush.” All in attendance were glad they
waited. Joseph demonstrated the quiet beauty of his songs and his
hypnotic powers as a performer to the rapt crowd.
We also sold a bunch of his cds which he happily customized with his
own artwork. Two of those titles showed up on
Twist & Shout's charts for the week.
