Seeing Rose Hill Drive is like getting a glimpse at the beginnings
of heavy rock in the late sixties. They seem to be channeling the rock
spirits of bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and the Jimi Hendrix
Experience while their amps are cranked to eleven. Rocking out to a
crowd of about a hundred people on the vinyl room floor, they blasted
their own version of acid rock with a more modern flavour. They
alternated between the use of an acoustic guitar and a bass guitar
throughout their set, showcasing songs from their new record
Moon is the New Earth. The crowd was very excited to both
see them perform and participate in the autograph signing after the
performance. Thanks for the great show Rose Hill Drive.
