King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Signing At Twist & Shout on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 6pm

Twist & Shout hosted a meet and greet with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard on October 4th. Our shop was able to sell the new album Sketches of Brunswick East nine days before the release date for the fans that joined our event. Over a hundred fans lined up to get the new album, old albums, books, fan art and much more signed by the band. It was really cool to hear the new album for the first time with the band in the shop! This Australian psych rock band is a personal favorite, so this was a fun event for us. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is a big band of seven members, each one of them was gracious, and they told me they really enjoyed meeting Denver fans. One fan had waited outside our shop in freezing rain to win a vinyl test pressing a few months back, and he was thrilled to get all the members to sign it. Thanks to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and ATO records for such a fun event.
